Zambia is now one of the best countries in Africa for an active safari. Whilst on safari in Zambia you might like to enjoy a walk through the bush with your armed safari guide, canoeing down the Zambezi or day and night game drives by open 4x4 vehicle.
Many of the safari camps and lodges in Zambia are very small and remote, some take just six guests giving you the opportunity for some wonderful safari experiences in privacy.
Why choose Zambia for your safari?
A safari in Zambia is a luxury, there are relatively few tourists visiting the country and you are likely to find yourselves the only people watching an African bush drama unfold in front of you. Zambia is ideal for an adventurous, yet comfortable safari where you can enjoy walking, open vehicle safaris, boating and canoeing. It is perfect for a 'last family holiday' with older teenagers. While safaris in Zambia give you a chance to be active, they are not strenuous and a morning walk might cover 5 or 6 miles. Zambia has some of Africa's best safari guides and some of its finest privately owned small safari camps and lodges.
