Changa Safari Camp boasts a remote, secluded location and nearly 4 km of lakeshore frontage. You can appreciate the aquatic and semi-aquatic wildlife of the Matusadona National Park, as well as the animals ashore and the birds aflight.
The camp has six spacious tented rooms, each with a bedroom, a private veranda, and a large en-suite bathroom with an indoor and outdoor shower, and an outdoor bath. There are also two larger family rooms.
The central part of the camp has a bar, dining room, and lounge all linked by paths. The glistening swimming pool beckons for an afternoon dip to escape the midday sun and provides enchanting views across the sprawling Lake Kariba.

During your time at Changa you can enjoy a wide variety of activities including game drives, rhino tracking, nature walks, boating, and fishing. Birds rule the air here – over 400 species call the park home, including Pel's fishing owl, night heron, spinetail, and narina trogon.

Environment
The camp, created from locally sourced materials and with as little environmental impact as possible, blends perfectly into its natural surrounds. Old, petrified mopani logs form railings and tent supports, thatching grass provides cooling shade and woven textiles and hand-crafted basketry complete the earthy visual style.
Environment
Changa Camp runs entirely on solar power. Their sixty solar panels efficiently and silently power the entire camp. All solar installations throughout Changa are carefully concealed within the surrounding bushland and seldom noticed by any occupant. Their latest solar installation is a 3-strand wire “elephant-proof” fence, which protects the kitchen and pantry during the night when camp is quiet and elephants might be keen to find some easy treats.
